My Björk inspired Top🌸🌸

I always said that the number 9 has always been a lucky number for me and what a coincidence that my all time favorite singer is having a concert in 2019! So there was no way I was going to miss that!!

Bjork tickets were going for over $400 and she was only performing at The Shed in New York but I was determined to go!

After weeks and weeks of searching, I was able to score 2 tickets for the price of 1! Whoo hoo!!

I decided that I would make a special top to wear to her concert. Inspired by her concert poster for her tour called “Cornucopia”

I loved the pastel colors so I decided to use a mint color fabric. The style was a one shoulder top with one sleeve that would have ruffles and small flowers made from iridescent holographic cellophane. I also spray painted some floral motifs with blacklight neon spray that would glow in the dark.

Here is the finished top in daylight and blacklight 😎

I wore this top with a black skirt and some mint Nike gym shoes for comfort because I knew we would be walking to The Shed. I always enjoy my walks around NYC and got to see a beautiful sunset!

The show was amazingly spectacular! The sound quality was superb! It really felt like Bjork was singing in your ear!! We weren’t allowed to take photos but if you go on her Instagram page there are plenty of photos there 🙂

One of my best friends came with me and she wore an outfit I made for her as well 💞

A memorable Memorial Day weekend in NYC ❤
